| Sunday 18th July at the Animal Beach
Ball in Newquay saw the eagerly-anticipated Miss Reef UK 2004 contest,
and all eyes were glued to the stage as 22 bikini-clad beauties
took to the catwalk and battled it out for the title of Miss Reef. |

| It was a tough fight but there could
only be one winner and local girl, Claire Newby, won the judges'
hearts and claimed the crown. We went to meet Claire and find out
what it's like to be the girl behind the thong. |
